Caitlin Taylor is a postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Psychological & Brain Sciences. She holds a B.S. in Psychology and B.A. in French, both from Indiana University Bloomington, and a Ph.D. in Neuroscience from Georgetown University. Caitlin's graduate work, under the guidance of Professor Guinevere Eden, determined the effects of age and experience on human processing of coherent visual motion. Now, as a postdoc in the lab of Professor Emily Jacobs, Caitlin is conducting the pioneering studies to determine the effects of oral contraceptive use on neurocognition. Drs Taylor and Jacobs are currently establishing a neuroimaging database dedicated to women’s health research, ensuring these critical and often overlooked questions can benefit from advances in big data analytics. Outside the lab, Caitlin is interested in sharing her love of science and the brain through science policy, education, and outreach.
